About Me
I am a Multimedia Journalism major, Business Leadership minor and Theatre minor. I love working with broadcast journalism and am passionate about writing.
What I love the most about studying multimedia journalism at Virginia Tech is the countless opportunities for me to express myself. I'm not limited to just writing or filming. I am able to try new platforms and explore which methods work best for me.
Growing up as an army brat allowed me to live many different places and adapt to new situations. When I'm not in school at Virginia Tech, I am in Huntsville, Alabama with family.
During the summer between my sophomore and junior year, I interned as a Virginia Association of Broadcasting intern at WSLS 10. I wrote scripts and web stories, filmed, learned to edit video and made my own packages and stand-ups.
I currently work as the Opinions section editor at the Collegiate Times. I also write for the Opinions and Lifestyles sections.
